Oh, and I find it especially refreshing that Lacey does just as shitty a job with her one night stand as I did over 20 years ago. I expected more from what I thought was liberatjng erotica book. If your interested in a really good read with all the right emotions you need to one click this one. There was a story here, and the author explored it quite well.
Hunter believes that he doesn’t belong there and he has to deal with trust issues. But they also started to fall for each other.
This is the book that introduced me to the world of Erotica. I actually bought the hard copy of this book years ago.
This book is full of steamy, sensual and flammable sex scenes! Customers who clahoun this item also bought. POV flows back and forth between Lacey’s perspective and Hunter’s. So they meet and have incredible chemistry from the beginning.
The storyline was predictable with some editing errors, but it was also enjoyable and entertaining. Graphic sexual content is fine with me but wanted character development in the story line too.

Without a doubt my favorite older female slightly younger male let’s hook up and try not to fall in love stories. I was glued to it like my life depended on it And while she feels unsure of herself and the path she is taking, she is not scared to try new things and let it be known what she wants.
It was also believable and the author didn’t try to do everything crazy and over the top kinky. No matter how hot and daring laccey makes her first public sex, quickie, backseat encounter and secret fantasy role-play, she can’t mistake adventurous sex for emotional involvement. Hunter was the one who had to battle his insecurities and vulnerabilities, which is quite the change in a romance book. And because I can’t find the words to describe how very good this book was, I’m going to point you to some ladies who said it better than I ever could annee Dhes, who’s up firstand all I can say for each one is, “What she said.
It was completely character driven and I loved the nonstop focus on their growing bond together. Thanks for the friendship, Anne!
Hunter lkberating with feeling good enough for Lacey. So what if he’s younger 28 to her 36 and far out of her social class she’s old money and a successful professional with a high paying career; he’s blue collar all the way and living paycheck to paycheck as a police officer –they connect from the get-go and he’d be libfrating than willing to initiate loberating into some sexual “firsts”.
But unfortunately I found the writing average, the sex scenes just okay, the plot barely there, calhon romance unexciting. Lacey just kept exceeding my expectations for her character. It’s a Smexy Must Read! That’s the only thing that I would’ve liked to have seen explored more. I re-read it again today, and again, I’m blinking furiously and sniffling when I get to the words “the end”.
More how well-enjoyed the book was for readers. POV flows back and forth between Lacey’s perspective and Hunter’s. There is absolutely no redundancy in any of the sex scene and there are a lot calhounn them! You don’t really see the age difference because Hunter is very mature, but there are insecurities from both sides, and their relationship was portrayed realistically.
