Want to Read saving…. Edgar was the second of three children. Again I did not enjoy the book as much as I could have. This book is not yet featured on Listopia. The name Poe brings to mind images of murderers and madmen, premature burials, and mysterious women who return from the dead. I love Grimly’s illustrations though.

To listen to a man become criminally insane was again, quite an interesting piece of work. The second one was The Cask of Amontillado, which w I don’t recall reading any of these three shorts before, although I find it hard to believe I didn’t when I was in high school.

The three of them together were very short; just about 60 minutes or so for all three at the narration speed. The second one was The Cask of Amontillado, which was good, but maybe less intriguing because there wasn’t as much of a twist that surprised me.
