After the critical and commercial success of the film, Jeff was approached about the possibility of continuing the story, finding someone to write a prequel and sequel to The Killer Angels. Thw Montgomery is about as colorful as Shaara’s Syaara. According to my history teacher this is some of the best historical fictions on WW2 out there, and I have to believe that. Ever since reading Gods and Generals I have been convinced that Jeff Shaara doesn’t have anything like the gift for writing his father, Shaara, Michaelexhibited in the breathtaking historical novel The Killer Angels.

I appreciate the insight into the decision-making and strategy of the generals.
